  • Can you provide more information about salaries?

Sure! At Mimo, we aim to ensure fair, unbiased, and equitable compensation in all locations. We stand above cheap labor practices and pay & reward equally regardless of the location, according to the credo “equal pay for equal work.” This is why we’ve developed a level system to place people according to their experience and skills. Every level has a distinct salary (not a range!), as we want to be gender-equitable in our approach. A range leaves room for better negotiators or people inclined to ask for raises more often and puts people at a disadvantage who don’t.

To calculate salaries, we use the base salary from the Austrian collective agreement and a role-based multiplier. Then, we apply a multiplier based on the experience level. The basic formula is: Role-dependent base salary * experience multiplier * 1.05 ^ years at Mimo - equity deduction (if applicable).

  • Mimo is 100% remote-friendly. Does it mean you hire worldwide?

While we do have a remote-first mentality, we do not hire globally. We want teams to work in the same time zones while still having an overlay where everyone can work to attend meetings if needed. Therefore, we want to ensure everyone is between UTC, UTC+1, and UTC+2.

  • Will Mimo help me set up my home office?

Yes! We want you to have a proper and ergonomic setup when working remotely. For this reason, you can use a total budget of €300 (once) to set up an ergonomic workplace.
